Bring That Beat Back: UK WFD Comp – This Weekend!

Drums are great aren’t they? Hitting bits of canvas and crashing together ear-splitting cymbals is fun-city. Those of you who are fans of this steadfast instrument, will be pleased to know that the UK Worlds Fastest Drummer Competition is being held this weekend at a place called Excel London, which funnily enough – is in London!

Un-official world number 9 ranked Chris Senior will be having a crack at beating the world record, which I will be keeping my fingers crossed for as he needs to beat 1247 hits in 1 minute by American, Mike Mangini. Those with a real passion for percussion should head down to London to give Chris their full support!

Below is Chris having a warm up for the big day and reaching 1087 hits, which would make him Britain’s unofficial fastest drummer, nice!
